The Château, classified as a historical monument, has been completely renovated and redesigned in 2019, in order to preserve the historical character of the place, while magnifying the spirit of the period in which the castle was built (1715) and modernising the interior comfort.

The building was passed down from generation to generation, notably passing into the ownership of Free France pilot, Philippe-Livry-Level.

In the middle of two and three hundred year old trees – beech, oak, ash, chestnut and cedar - the castle has more than 3 kilometres of walkways to stroll along and relax to the sound of birdsong.

Surrounded by natural ponds, French and English-style gardens and a forest stretching out as far as the eye can see, this castle serves like a family home.

Beyond its park, you can discover the historical sites of the region. Like the famous D-Day beach, only 20 minutes from the Château, or the Bayeux tapestries, which show the conquest of England by William the Conqueror, as well as the American cemetery. So many fascinating places full of history that are waiting to be discovered.

Located in the former library of the Château, "Le 1715 Chill & Eat" offers a tapas menu as well as some iconic dishes.

This moment is meant to be convivial: from the cutting of a sole meunière in the dining room, to the sharing of a rib of beef smoked with rosemary before a sweet moment with a tarte Tatin or a baba au rhum.
