The 5-star boutique hotel Les Lumières, nestled at the foot of the Palace of Versailles, was created from the union of two historic pavilions dating from the 17th and 19th centuries, gifted by Louis XIV to Édouard Colbert and Antoine III de Gramont: the Gramont and Villacerf pavilions, the latter of which was converted into a hotel for travelers around 1820.

The façade and the staircase, dating from 1907, reveal the splendor of the Grand Siècle.

Here and there, flamboyant hues and black marble, in homage to the royal court, blend into a contemporary, refined, and warm atmosphere. Outside, nature flourishes in the gardens, the patio, around the glass roof, and the stone fountain. During a stroll, you will discover the pear tree of the Enlightenment. It is under its shade that the Bezy de la Motte variety, once cherished by King Louis XIV, thrives. The hotel, ideal for a family stay, has been carefully renovated to offer you an intimate, enlightening, and nourishing break.
